Wedge or Squealer, which is faster?

My tests indicate that the wedge can reach 272 mph, and the squealer can reach 273 mph, anyone else have test results?

Wedge is faster it reaches over 300 mph now. Shuriken is FASTEST for it reaches 314 mph

Squealer seems a great deal better in terms of acceleration... which on most standard levels means it reaches a higher speed prior to the running out of road.

But the squealer is also annoying, since it comes apart pretty easily when hitting ramps. The Wedge is way better about hitting ramps and keeping speed without totally disintegrating.

It's tough to say. Again, on standard maps, Squealer is probably much faster simply because it can get up to speed more easily before it crashes into something. But on a completely flat level with tons of road, it'd be tough to say.

I think the Squealer actually is a bit faster in terms of top speed, but I think it *feels* so much faster because most standard levels you play have only a short span in which to hit a top speed.

On Space Program, the Squealer is the vehicle I can get the highest (405 meters vertically, with boost pads on the vertical ramp part of the level), while with the same level arrangement I think I've gotten the Wedge not even close to that. Squealer would go way higher, too, if it weren't for having to keep the speed down to 25% just to make it onto the vertical ramp without falling apart. But once the Squealer is on that vertical ramp, the moment it hits a boost pad it just zooms.

The Shuriken is

i took the two vehicles to the test on the ironically named level "Test1". It had a really long booster going at a 45° angle downhill.

the Squealer's Max speed is 476 km/h (296 mph)

the Shuriken's Max Speed is 507 km/h (315 mph)

in conclusion, the Shuriken is faster.

Yep. Most recent update. Part of a Star wars pack, i think. The 'seasonal head' for this go-around is even a rebel pilot's helmet with blue markings.
