Thanks, I Hate It! (ER Changes)
Yeah, as I said, I hate the ER changes. For one thing, any meta has been wiped out. The best decks will need to be dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up. I understand why these changes were made and I won't ask they be reverted, but it feels to me like these changes were made to correct things that were considered problematic without understanding WHY they were problematic.

Let's start with the elephant in the room - Consume. First off, the one thing I'll be raging against is that it wasn't actually removed, just that the player cannot use it anymore. It does NOT feel good to see consume appearing in waves when we don't get to play with it. It feels unfair, which for me is a huge issue. At least make it a 1/1 increase, though I feel like like there should be a way to give players consume without breaking too much. Like attach it to a single target spell instead of a group spell. As it is, runic fragments will be much, MUCH harder to get... like, they will be through ALL of the second isle before they even think of touching Tactician and I'm expecting it might take them anywhere from a week to a month to get a good deck together.

Also, the best rune farmer now I'm going to be guess will be Toothy Terror. Why? Because he doesn't have to worry about Poison or Armor. From there it's just a matter of giving him Runic and how to get his stats to a level that you can get a decent amount of runes. That was ALWAYS what the equation was, and why consume was used, just now Madness will get tossed in favor of something else. As a note, Grimy Gobbler change was a nerf - before you could play him to eat up a lane, but because Consume is still a thing for enemies you can't just play him as a blocker. It also ironically makes his lower ranks better, as they will die more easily than the max rank and thus have less change of feeding the enemy.

OMG, just read the in game announcement and I actually laughed out loud. '...early and mid game decks will likely see their rewards increased.' That was HILAROUSLY wrong. It's an across the board nerf to everything, especially rune fragments. I think the problem is you think you're building 'a card game, like hearthstone'. But it's not. There are a number of key differences. For one, hearthstone is balanced within an inch of it's life, this is not and probably won't be for a long time if ever. Number two - Hearthstone is a standalone game, ER is not. If I don't want to play it, I feel like I shouldn't be playing this game at all, meaning you need to be able to farm with consistency and that is a huge weak point for card games. I actively hated my last attempt to play ER, it felt awful and left me feeling hopeless about accomplishing my goal of farming a decent number of rune fragments to continue upgrading cards.

Maybe consider making Ichor separate from the rest, which you use to purchase the other currencies. IDK.
I have run into the issue you are bringing up, i don't have much time to actively play so i only check in 1-3 times a day when i have time, thus i never do the "accept and rebirth" option for quests, i just do the regular non-rebirth option and im almost completely done with knowledge farming on island 2 (unlocking all the knowledge bonus on all the monsters) and i still can't get a decent run going because the cards i have gotten from tactician packs have been bottom of the barrel cards, i have opened about 30 tactician cards and have 2 rare cards that are considered "good", which are 1 Anvil and 1 trueflight bow, the rest i have gotten have been copies of common rank that i just sell since you can only hold 4x of the same cards.

Haven't been able to get a good score after the rebalance, and before the change i had rather poor gains as it was, my pb before was 10,000 golden ichor and 1600 rune fragments.

After patch i managed to do practice match where pb was 4900, i have what i consider a "mid" deck, not bad, but certainly nothing outstanding and im not seeing the increased gains im supposedly supposed to have now.

Im at Lvl 91 in the str/dex/int and dmg talent in the golden ichor shop, so i think in total that amounts to something like 40k golden ichor, which is what i have gotten over a period of about 1,5 months.

it might be a good idea to give players a new option under "Saved Rewards" that contains some default amount they can collect daily instead of having to play the game. And the amount can be increased with a golden and cosmic ichor purchases.

I don't know how much that base amount should be, or how much it should increase by with ichor purchases. But at least with this kind of option, players who don't want to play the card game could still collect a decent amount of ichor and shards without struggling through a game they don't understand or enjoy.

And maybe increase the "Saved Game Multiplier" so it doesn't feel so punishing to choose that option.

I 100% agree that the "Saved Game" needs an improvement. The card game is the worst part of this entire game because it just comes up to rarely (only one game a day, ignoring any bonus play ever 2-10 days) and you have so much rng to deal with that it becomes unfun to play.

After a game it should give the option of:
-Save the reward (always available, don't lock it behind an unlock.)

Then let us pick one of the two options:
-Take the reward for the game we just played
-Take the reward from a saved game

There is NOTHING more annoying than playing a game and getting absolutely beaten down by the unfair enemy who can throw all the cheap-shots they want at you with poison and armored enemy who make it mandatory to bring purge/dispel to have a chance to hit the enemy who always have first strike.

The solution of buying the redo item in the store isn't a fix either. It just gives you two plays for one reward every day, which is still missing the point that the rng of this game is unfun.

Something like hearthstone works because you can play more than one game a day to improve and do little tweaks across hundreds of cards. Our options are so few that there is only maybe three viable options to play if you want to be able to afford an upgrade once a day in the shop.

Practice mode doesn't count either because again, the rng just makes it a "you can die before 6 energy or you will earn a morbillion points" but good luck getting a decent run when the reward is live.
yeah this sucks a big fat one, plus with the terrible deck building interface its a chore to even build them
...Eeeyup... ...still the only part of the game I actively do not enjoy... ...still haven't found a deck worth playing that is any fun...
