Is the game dead?

I joined couple hours before now and i saw no one and world chat was very very quit like only one was responding to me .. so is the community active or what?

It's an active community - keep in mind that it IS a holiday and many people are not at home at their computers.

Hmm okay. can you just give me the usual online numbers of player .. like a number.

Avarage number online in my guild can be about 8-14 players. In my friendlist I have an additional 20 people coming and going. Looking at chat, you can tell there can be around atleast 10 different chatty people.. Then there's the massive silent crowd that do their thing without talking..
Standing in Ardent at peak hour I can usually see another 15-20 different people..

So 'usual' online numbers can get very high.

Yep , same here. Everytime I log in there's a handful of people in my guild there, and I always see plenty of people from other guilds crafting, fighting, fishing, etc .

I will say this too - this is one of the nicest communities I've ever come across in an online game. Really pleasant place to be.

It could also depend on which server you chose, People on the US servers may be sleeping at this time (Those on the East Coast particularly). I also echo what Naota said about the game having the friendliest people. I expect that has to do with the happy lack of pvp, ;`)

Oh may i ask how actually pvp doing ? am downloading game atm just wanted to know before i join in xD am a pvp fan.

It's know that some anit-virus programs flag the .exe-file as a possible threat, it's not a threat. You can set in the option of your anti-virus to ignor this file instead of flagging it.

I like the co-operative aspects of Villagers and Heroes. I like gathering and crafting and exploring. I like a good story line, and I love being a hero that kills monsters when necessary and gardens and ranches to relax. Best mmo style game I've played since Earth & Beyond,
