Realm population

Hey,
I would like to try this game out, but i dont want to start on a low pop server.
I am from EU, but I red all servers are located in germany so it doesnt matter ping wise.
So what is the "best" server?

If you want to try the game out, I actually advise downloading the game client at https://www.villagers-and-heroes.com/ rather than the Steam client. They both share the same servers, but the Steam client does NOT allow cross platform play, where the game client does.
I am not sure which server is busiest, but all servers have pretty helpful folks and most have set times to help new people through elder boss runs and dungeons.

I dont really care about cross platforming, I dont really play anything on my phone.

I understand you don't play anything on your phone, however I would still suggest downloading the game client as squeakandme suggested.

The reason being is that items bought in the cash shop, on Steam and iOS, are restricted to your account.

By restricted I mean you cannot give, sell, or otherwise transfer shop items to any other person.

This was done some months back as a "temporary fix" to close some exploit.

I'm suspicious that "temporary fix" is permanent.

Also, fyi, the servers are now located in Quebec, Canada.
They were moved a few months ago.

According to Steam Charts, there were 81 playing an hour ago, as I type this.
In the last month there were an average of 93 playing.
These are just the steam players.

On all servers, the population will vary according to time of day.
Also there are over 141 zones in the game, not counting all the villages.

I think an average of 1000 playing at any one is likely conservative estimate when the number of servers are also taken into account.
