HUD option suggestion: add an option to "turn off all HUD elements", meaning ALL of them, 100% of them.
The arrow that tells me exactly where my rival is behind me, makes racing boring. Instead of a close race involving a careful balance of looking back to block, and looking forward, I am just always looking forward, and it feels like half the game it should.

All of the other HUD elements can be turned off, except the amount of money you have and the "eyes in the back of your head" marker.

I am suggesting to simply add an option to "turn off all HUD elements", meaning ALL of them, 100% of them. Why not? I'm sure there will be many players butthurt about this suggestion, for literally no reason...

Actually that’s not a bad idea. Could make it a bit more challenging when you are going around the Expressway finding rivals to challenge.

I still regularly play the Dreamcast versions of Tokyo Extreme Racer, and in those games, there is no "rival marker", and it makes the game play and feel totally different.

I can't even enjoy the racing in this game by comparison, so, I find it baffling as to why this "rival marker" is basically the ONE and ONLY HUD element that can never ever be disabled...

It's crazy that this is the one and only HUD element that makes no physical sense and changes the game completely yet remains the one and only thing that I still cannot disable...
