there focus is the singleplayer content first since its only half the game right now, once it get a full release sometime in late spring into summer we'll know more if they add multiplayer.

Given how easy it is to alter the save file and give yourself max everything multiplayer would quickly be overrun by cheaters and griefers. Enjoy the single player title. There are other options out there for multiplayer racing.

People like this^ guy aren't familiar with Japanese online games. Maybe it didn't occur to them, the Japanese like doing "private passworded lobbies" kinda like Monster Hunter or Armored Core. If you don't want to play with others, you don't have to.

I would love a multiplayer aspect if Genki added it to TXR. I would like to challenge my friend- who lives in another country to a race- even if its just the two of us.

People forget the only reason TXR was singleplayer was because it was released during a time where internet connectivity wasn't a widely-implemented technology yet. Seeing as were getting into Gigabit fiber-optic and even satellite internet these days, it would be a fun feature to have.

No, thanks. The cheating in single player is already out of control. I can only imagine, what online will be like. I rather Genki not waste time, money and resources on a multiplayer that will be overrun by cheaters and mostly abandon after a few months. I rather they use their time, money and resources to make the single player better.

It'd kind of dilute the old-school arcade feel of the game.

Multiplayer should be a DLC, if Genki wants to add it in. I don't want multiplayer myself, and would rather not have to be forced to waste the space for it.

multiplayer should be the aim of the "NEXT" game, not this one. OR as DLC

Would love it if it was 8 players in free roam, in a drop in drop out lobby with the same rules as AI with AI STILL filling the highways like now, simply drive behind someone, flash you lights and bam, duel

Be even better if you could have the 4 player duels like you can in single player even if that means you need to start them from a parking garage, i would be fine with that

there can be both if you want multiplayer play that mode if your into racing other players, if your into single player story mode then play that not a big problem.

yeah- you should be able to choose if you want multiplayer or not. It would be a different title screen menu
