I see. Thanks for your reply! Your post did teach me more about gear tuning and gear shifting. I tended to drag the lower gears as much as I can because I believed that made for better acceleration (which is similar to what you explained but mine was just in a layman way).
I ended up not using the VAB much after I got the earlier STIs. One simple reason is that the earlier ones have nicer behinds... haha. And they are faster with more oompmf in their engine sounds.
Non-WRX model is just straight better, and it's even older, than WRX, lol
the mkIII supra has the power to go 200 but its gears are so bugged out the game just wont let you set the gears up right.
this bug was in the ps2 version of the game.....
