Ign gives TXR 2025...
An 8/10. Even though the reviewer is a m*r*n who couldn't figure out to press start to exit the game. And that you can switch menu tabs by pressing the shoulder buttons.

No one cares what those weirdos think and should stop being given so much credit these days. It's not 2003 anymore- they are irrelevant

IGN also said it was a PS2 game, completely missing that it was a Dreamcast launch title (at least in Europe, but I believe in America as well).

That's how I discovered it, in those void of console releases where you are wiling to try new stuff.

Considering gaming media outlets play a role in a games success (the length of which is debatable), I'm glad they gave it an 8 as that will help sales.

No, they really don't. This game is an example. With little advertisement- but word of mouth and reposting on social media did this game remake successfully launch. The community decides if a game is a success, not "game journalists" or "rating sites" like Metacritic.

You're already using a user-based social media site to form your own conclusions, yet still require BS journalists like IGN to tell you if a game is good or not. Formulate your own opinions like a grown adult instead of waiting on theirs

You clearly don't know what you're talking about. So I would recommend just keeping your mouth shut. At least that way, we can only assume you're slow. I mean, there's just so much nonsense in your comment, that I want to respond to it. However, I'm like it's just better to ignore such a useless troll. I know that will hurt your feelings much more.

IGN and gaming journalists in general reach a wide audience. Far wider than word of mouth and posting in the forums that most players will never visit.

No, I agree with the OP that TXR being rated by IGN, favorably I might add, is a good thing for this game. Do I go to IGN myself? Rarely.

Pay him no mind. He's slow. He's clearly to slow to comprehend. He's speaking for me as if he knows me and can read my mind. When did I say I depend ign? Where did I say I based my opinion on ign review?

Bro, you're the one posting IGN like you need it to feed you. Who's the real clown here? Do you need IGN to help you dress yourself in the morning too? Are you dense? Why do you need these people to tell you if the game is good or not? :mhwgood:

I didn't say it was a bad thing. I reiterate that IGN is simply irrelevant and should be given little credit. This game would survive even without IGN- as it is a foreign game from the very beginning.

Other similar games that play like TXR- like Assetto Corsa mods became successful in online communities but they never needed the spotlight from these corporations.

you don't even have anything to say back anyway. IGN rates you a 1/10 for being a smoothbrain

He mentioned that it was Dreamcast 1:18 into the video...

It's truly next level that this thread is literally a page of people yelling at each other and hurling insults over completely unsubstantiated opinions on both sides because each side thinks their opinion is superior in a world where opinions don't have superiority because they are just subjective tastes.

I love the steam forums, the angriest, least productive discussion forums in the world
