Tokyo Xtreme Racer
Integrate from old TXR and Import Tuner Challenge
As someone who has played all the previous generations of TXR and is also a car enthusiast, I’ve always been inspired by Team Midnight and have a deep appreciation for the Japanese racing scene. This game has come the closest to capturing that feeling—the vibe of actually being in Japan. No other game really compares

I’d love to see them bring back interior modifications, which were featured in Import Tuner. It would also be interesting to add some exotics, like the wild Lambos with strobe lights, to introduce something fresh. Even incorporating bosozoku-style cars for beginners could be a cool addition—just a thought.

Also, I’ve built a single-turbo MR2 SW20, so I’d love to see the SW20 make a return to the platform. (Just a selfish request, haha.) 🤞🏼

The thing with ITC (and I love this game) is that apart from the aftermarket gauges, you could never see the other modifications while in your car because there was no way to look around the cockpit! You could not see your custom steering wheel, your custom interior colours or your custom seats...
I loved the engine upgrades in ITC. You can literally see the engines and their upgrades under the hood! Also the interior additions like steer wheel upgrades to the simplistic additions of rear view mirror decorations and interior colors. Also enjoyed the muffler types.

I guess, it was a limitation for Xbox 360. But nowdays with PC, I dont think this is a thing anymore: full cockpit view or not.

I personally would welcome a cockpit view. Even Gran Turismo has now this camera perspective and was long time a "bumper or hood only" game. C'mon, it's 2025 and cockpit is standard in this genre!

I agree. I love the game but i guess i was expecting more. Especially from Pc. Also, getting that random flame that didnt go with decelerating or when shifting. Would like to see that fixed.

That is a good catch. I am on 6th gear, accelerating, and I get a random pop from the exhaust...

I noticed this too. Surely it will be fixed since it was ok in previous games
