Unfortunately, you need to find a patched version of TXR3 to fix the issue they had with the currency. Made the final car impossible to buy because the currency system didn't go that high
Ah, I think I've heard about this. Basically they divided all the prices by 100 in the US version, so that the currency is more similar to USD instead of yen, and this broke some things in the progression. I think if you're playing on PC it's very easy to get the patch though.
Still, TXR3 is special to me. Lots of customization, weather system, 3 cities, and most importantly the handling. Initially it feels like every car is on ice, but once you get used to it (and turned downforce to 10(AND are using analog throttle/brake)) it feels really good to nail those C1 corners. For me it's an almost perfect example of enjoyable yet somewhat realistic and challenging handling.
you dont say.... from what ive seen so far i dont have high hopes. love txr always have hence my post about what i think this game needs going forward!!!
blown away by what exactly.....?
the fact most comments have misunderstood my post by saying.... iTS aN eArlY aCCesS gaMe... err well no ♥♥♥♥ !!!
lmfao.
i admire the true origin of the game but its 2025 times move on and aslong as the game stays true at core with more immersion i think this will be unbeatable but from what ive seen so far i have my doubts..hopefully genki does us proud been waiting for a decent release for 20 + years!!!
good enough for ya buttercup?
if i did listing all the things ive mentioned would you buy it ?
import tuner had more variety in off ramps etc.. if you read my post im clearly saying the track needs to be extended in other areas and not stick with the original layout as txrz, import tuner was a little bit more interesting by avoiding the long run on the highway.
While I hate to do any siding with the OP cause he's a jerk, what are you talking about? Tokyo Highway Challenge is TXR1 and it along with TXRZ, TXR 2025 and ITC are all developed by Genki. Forza also doesn't have a monopoly on engine sounds...
Overall OP is a clown but yeah, what?
You specifically said yourself "track is smaller" not "less offramps". There are no other way to interpret this statement other than 'the amount of drivable road is lesser'.
please explain why im a jerk and clown for giving an opinion for what i think would make this game even more amazing than what it is...
big fan of txr and itc i literally lived and breathed this game growing up and i want nothing more than see its future successful.. i was grinding this franchise 26 years ago and always knew it would return but had hoped it would be a step up from what weve already had. also i want younger generations to love this game and be pulled away from nfs and forza but i feel only older fans will appreciate it which is a shame.
my review and opinions are open to debate but to be personally insulted for honest criticism and feedback based on my own views is disappointing!
like i previously stated if genki dont do the work hopefuly modders will answer the call or we will see this game gather dust on a dark shelf. AGAIN!!
you are absolutely right, unfortunately txr3 was like gold dust here in the uk so never had the pleasure, closest i had was import tuner which i understand was the same-ish.
Txr zero is the GOAT !!
FOR ME anyway... dont wanna get insulted by being a jerk again. lol
