So sick of driving the rx8

There's literally no other option for me at this point in the game. And what's also nonsense is I'm beating cars like lancer evos and fairladys with this piddly little rx8. Why aren't there more car options for us to purchase at this point in the game?

never tried the rx8 beat the whole EA with just ae86 then got and 180sx after that s14 which top at 190 mph and beat Cinderella with the s14 and Melancholy Angel pre patch.

In other words OP's favorite car isn't in the game and is making it seem like he was forced to drive a RX8. If you don't like it why even picking it? That's like me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about picking a s14. I don't like Silvia's but I'm not going to choose one and complain as if there weren't other options .. just say "My favorite car ____ isn't in the game so I picked the RX8 and now well now I just clearly annoyed myself" literally the topic of this post.

exactly and thats a BIG problem. every car should feel viable to some degree (with the exception of the joke cars designed to be used against wanderers). reaching the end of the game and being told "you picked the wrong car, start a 10 hour grind until you can buy and fully upgrade the right car" is the most demotivating thing that can happen to you in a racing game. genki seriously needs to look into this before the next big content update otherwise I get the feeling alot of people aren't gonna be coming back.

I really hate that they made the RX8 so strong, it's a hideous and mediocre car in reality. Did Mazda sponsor the game or something??? It just makes no sense, the car is not even particularly fast in real life, either.

I wish we could get an MR2 SW20 and maybe like a GR Corolla would be cool. But god do I hate the RX8, it's so ugly.

There is no world where an RX8 is outrunning a Skyline, Supra, etc. because it's a heavy, slow car. God I hate it lol.

It's not heavy, especially comparing to a Supra, Skyline, or a GR Corolla. And while stock RX-8 is slower, while upgraded it might very well be faster.

It's early access. It's just to test what cars work for this stage in the game. And so far the ones they give us work for beating the early access.

I find it extremely odd that me making a simple request to allow us to try more cars is met with such hatred.

As if them opening up more car models to us somehow ruins the game, like they're forcing you to go buy and use those cars.

Why don't games like Forza and GT7 fail? Those games have tons of options on how to beat various races with almost any car you want.

after reading most the comments.
i think most new people who are new to the Tokyo Xtreme Racer genre should go take a look and play Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3.
those games haves cars that can carry you all the way to the end like in zero you have the Evo III it can take you vary far, wile in TXR 3 you have the Toyota chaser, especially when you unlock engine swaps.
but both games have few cars that can let you do a one car run.
also people need to remember this is a early access game it still has a ways to go and get more balances done, that and the Devs are reading all the posts looking for feedback.
so yeah chill out.

been playing theses games since i was like 12 it's a miracle that this came back especially after its been forever since Import Tuner Challenge in 2006.
