This fight is more of a luck based than skill based IMO. Keep retrying until she fumbles and brakes / swivels, then dump the NOS.

Is it even possible to have a car upgraded enough to match her before you beat her? half the cars and upgrades are locked behind beating her.

I maxed out the RX-8 and tuned it to have high acceleration, and then started the race at Edobashi Junction heading northwest, then I used a bit of my nitrous to get past her and ram her car into the wall, then once she was behind, I just used the rest of my nitrous to speed away

6 tries and I beat her in the S13. Just luck to beat her.

take a S14/RX-8
Max it as possible
Install LSD lvl2
Change tyres to soft
1st try you can pass her
on 2nd challenge her at ginza c1, where you have 2 lines and parking zone at the left(that is wide enough to be a 3rd line)
Once you challenge her - move to the left, use nitrous and smoke her

or, if you short on money - you can try Hachiroku with pop-up headlights, it's not that op, as two cars i mentioned before, but it still has great initial acceleration

This battle completely up to luck. I lost to her 2 times, but when I raced her the third time, she stalled and then crashed into a traffic car.

its a bit luck based but still doable.

The turn before entering Ginza is a good place to start, plenty of curves and she brakes hard there. Just need something pretty quick in those twisty section and you can overtake it.

Use the S14 (Silvia 97) on C1 Inner Loop.

Progression cars meta: First car -> Silvia 91 (S13) -> Silvia 97 (S14) -> (after Cinderalla) RX-7 ('00)

In this game, just because the car is further up the machine tree doesn't mean it's better. (dont use RX-8 to Melancholic, possible, but worst).

Adjust the transmission's "Final" to around 4600 - 4780 (all cars are usually good to do this), to increase acceleration, as in most cases (vast majority of the game) it is preferable to have more acceleration even with the loss of a little top speed.

EDITED: I don't need to say, but just to be clear, you should always have the maximum improved (tunning) car allowed.

Buy the Nissan S14 (with 180SX is so difficult)
Put final gear to top aceleration
Run 2 or 3 battles without use Nitro, at 3 or 4 she do not start so good or she crash. Try to win her without nitro and only uses it at top speed.

I just raced her all the way around the loop, took 9 loses, but on the tenth try she front ended a divider and I blew past her. I was afraid that with her insane speed she would be able to recover quickly, but she never did.

yesterday i have beaten her with rx-8 5 times out of 10(with 341 ps - available maximum when you race with her), car's GOAT and i can say some things:
1)don't challenge her on uphill or downhill, only a flat surface
2)don't challenge her mid corners, especially left
3)the best place to challenge her so far is the ginza where you have parking area on the left(other 3-line roads good as well)
4)don't challenge her if you or she has the traffic in front of you, bump her in a rear bumper and lead before you hear crash sound infront of you - that way you can despawn traffic, because having traffic near with is a bad sign, 'coz after the start she will bump into the car infront lf her and will bump into her rear as well, that's 100% lose scenario

wait to challenger until you drive through the straight with many tunnels and obstacles
she ram into a wall hard
