Whats the build to beat Melancholic Angel?

s14 or rx8 maxed out with a legendary tune from a guy at a parking area. its beatable but you have to lose a couple time to burn its nos.
otherwise hope it crashes.

i did it with the s14 with the first strategy legendary tune + burning their nos with a couple losses.

i used the 180sx maxed out with the ratios geared more for acceleration and then she hit a truck gg. dont think there is any build that can keep up with her even the cars you get after you beat her cant hit the 450ps that she has. just keep trying she will eventually mess up enough for you to beat her. after you beat her though you can just walk past Cinderella

nvm, i just tried and tried until she bugged and didnt't rocket start so i slammed her against a wall then overtook her enough for me to win. you might need legendary tuner and few tries

You gotta do gearing tuning if you hope to beat here... basically start races with whatever moves jumping between the parking lots using that to assess how the gearing works, adjust to taste. You gotta take final drive and move it all the way to the right, but you're gonna shoot your top speed if you do that. Even then I was barely able to keep up to her with the legendary tuner and nitro, but granted wasn't using soft tires. Thankfully she wrecked at Ginzan (by somehow putting herself sideways in a tunnel when she was ahead of me), and that gave me the win.

Giving up for now,I have a fully maxed RX8 and can't even get near her,I don't want to wait for the epic tuner to show up with the right stuff and I don't want to cheese in some stupid way,after 16 hours my TXR EA ends here,I'm still happy to have bought the game so i don't want to reach the point of hate it,I hope they'll fix this stuff along the way but I won't hold my breath.

Check one of my answers, basically constantly try until she bugs and you can push her to the side, so luckly she will eat a car or a barrier or something and you can win

Her RX-8 is on 'roids. I got her on the C1 Inner Loop. Started the battle in Ginza and passed her right as I went through Kyobashi, she likes to brake there apparently. Used a maxed out RX-8 with a 4.708 final gear ratio, a 2-way Limited Slip with both initial torque and ratio on +10, Spring rate F: +3 and R: +2, Damper F: -1 and R: +3, and Damper Balance F: +70 and R: +40. Didn't use the Legendary Tuner but I did burn through all my NOS, halfway at the beginning before the split at Kyobashi and then the other half when I passed her. It worked for me, it may not work for you but you can try.

her rx8's accel is still beyond any car available in EA. I tried a r34 and a 370z fully tuned and both of them lose in accel compared to her rx8, skyline got close but still a good bit slower.

I raced her a few times, and after reading the struggles of other people I kept at it. Definitely luck based, after the 3rd or 4th race she hit her brakes and I was able to basically pit her into a k-rail till she was sideways, got around and was able to pull off a win. Definitely needs nerfed as CINDERELLA PAST MIDNIGHT is an easier battle.
