Boxing a bit too aggressive.
This is something I picked up while trying to race and what mostly caused my losses. When they try to box you for defending ahead, they'd hogged you to the wall, while you can brake to give space, this will end up with you recover slower and would make you lose because of the amount of SP left after the fact. I don't know it this is just an early game thing but worth a look into. It's not a gamebreaking bug per se, just weird AI behavior.

The game usually has them lose tons of SP if they're continually ramming you into the wall and if they're in front it will put them down to a certain point, but you have to get in front of them to win. If you stay with in 30m of the car in front you don't lose SP so when they do ram you just let off a tiny bit to get just behind them and draft till you can attempt another attack. This is a fighting game disguised as a car game lol

That I know. I don't know the better way to explain it and I rarely record stuff (probably should). They tend to switch lanes quickly if there's a traffic in front of them (something even the previous game had) and the AI thinks that is its line so when you want to overtake and they did that maneuver, they'd push you to the wall and both cars will slow down, sometimes to a point of T-bone, essentially draining both your SP until you, the player, give it up.

Pretty much like PC CarX Street's AI where you can't push them but they can because they're on their racing line.
No they're WAY too aggressive. I've had MULTIPLE races where they will not only pit maneuver ME, but traffic ahead of me to literally throw them in my way.
