awesome i have not gone down the supra line yet but i definitely plan to. gotta break out the old headset and give it a go thanks for the recommendation.
i was able to clear the first stage with the 86 all tier 1 upgrades so you should be able to make it happen. good luck out there
Tried the Subaru R wagon'ish car, and R32 GTR. Ended up keeping the R33. Will try the Supra when I get the money to buy it.
There's a bunch of other cars I've bought and upgraded with the current normally available parts but barely drove. Take these with a grain of salt.
FD RX-7- Incredible car. Will likely hold its own against the inevitable GR Supras/R35s
GC8 Impreza- Probably close to the RX-7 or matching it, can't tell for sure
Z33 Fairlady Z- not feeling this one much in corners due to the weight and feeling slightly underpowered
A80 Supra- sort of the same deal for weight like the Z33 but at least it has the inline-6 engine going for it for sound and power
R33 GT-R- seems alright, would not be surprised if the R34 is just a straight upgrade though
R32 GT-R- seems alright as well, but fully upgraded it doesn't seem to even hit the 400HP barrier
180SX- Just another Nissan S chassis. If you like it, keep it especially against a certain wanderer. But the S14's marginally better in power I think.
nice breakdown i appreciate all the detail, i really love that the FD is so rapid since its my fav car in RL. Stoked to have some new rides to check out in the full release.
And the sound, man, THE SOUND! Some of the sounds in the game aren't that great, but they nailed the howl of an RB26DETT. My Evo 5 turned out faster, but I still prefer driving the R33 because of the sound.
