race difficulty

i'm interested in buying this game, but from what i can see the races are a bit easy. is it just an impression or is it easy?

You are going to win 80-100% races. The game is worth buying.

Depends on who you race too, but yeah game is overall on the easier part until boss fights where you need good tuning and good driving

Just keep your starter car if you want to lose a bunch of races, lol.

The game lacks any sense of freedom or meaningful challenge. You either outclass the opponent, requiring zero skill, or they outclass you, requiring 100% cheese. You will be railroaded into buying cars you don't want to drive and the cars you want to drive will be locked behind endgame or quickly become obsolete because of the bottleneck on upgrade parts

most of the game you will have a decent challenge there are one or two races towards the end of the current playable game that are tuned to very very difficult however they can be beaten with a little persistence. overall i would highly recommend this game to anyone even slightly interested in Japanese cars and car culture. The difficulty depends on your own skill, the performance of your car, and perks. You can always delay performance upgrades if you don't want the game to become too easy.

Like other people said its either you win or lose, ive had a few comebacks but thats been from racing low skill cars

I feel is quite easy compared for what it was in tokyo extreme racer 3 era
