NO CAR SOUND IN GAME

I DONT HAVE CAR SOUND IN GAME AND HAVE NOT IDEA HOW TO FIX THIS ARE IF THERE IS A FIX FOR THIS ANY HELP PLZ

Bumping because I have the same issue with my car. No engine sounds on it while I'm driving.

i fixed the sound bug by verifying my files for the game don't if it'll work for you but it's worth a try.

i had the same issue, i ended up plugging my headset into my controller vs the mix amp and that worked for me

If you got an audio jack headset or speakers you can fix it by plugging something like that in, quitting the game and then changing back to your normal speakers by clicking the speaker icon on your tray area in the start bar - there's an option at the top to select your output.

Unfortunately it didn't work for me but it seems to generally fix it for other people.

But yes Genki please fix this, it's really annoying.

I have the same issue, played for about 13 hours the last hour or 2 no more engine sounds. Ill try the fixes listed above. Someone from the Dev team please look into this.

Sound issue persists since release, and no hotfix for that.. seriously a joke, even for an EA.

this is still an issue. 14 hours played and i have no car audio in the 3rd person pov's. hood cam is no issue i have car audio on that cam.

Same issue here now. Played 11 hours and everything was fine, I booted up the game today and I have no car audio in the 3rd person views (front/hood cam has engine sounds still).

Tried verifying game files in Steam, unplugging and plugging the headphones back in, restarting the game, switching cars, etc... Nothing has brought back the engine sounds.

Hope to see a fix soon, it really kills the experience.

I agree it really messes up the experience. The only saving grace is that I'm doing what I used to do back in the day when I played MC2, NFS U and U2 and just blast my own music in the background.

Forgot to mention in my post before I have no engine sounds at all doesn't matter which view. Idk if anyone has that same issue

I have the same problem but I can kind of hear it when in the up front camera mode. This is most likely due to 5.1 settings. Cyberpunk does the same thing. Switch audio from 5.1 to stereo or plug in headphones.

Yeah I now have the issue where there's no engine sounds regardless of the camera position.

I tried to plug in the audio jack headphones and that's what triggered it for me and no workaround.

I have no engine sounds in the 3rd person views, but I do get them in the inside car and hood view. IMO engine sounds should be audible in all camera views.

Bumping to see if anyone else has no engine sounds or if there has been a fix yet? I tried everything listed above and got nothing :(
