Hang on, I'm with this guy. TXR3 had American cars in it. If I may add, I'd like some German cars thrown in as well since BMW Alpina is rather popular in Japan.

EDIT: for those giving the jester award, look up the classic American car scene in Japan. Especially the cholo lowrider scene.

I finished TXR 0 with a Viper. I would love some US and Euro cars. Porsche, Dodge Ford and BMW is a must at this point. Hope they will add them in the future

Disagree, Im 44 yrs old and played all the TXR games as well as lived in Japan for many years through college immersed in the street scene. TXR is about Japanese highway racing and american cars are definitely a thing in real life and past TXR games my dude!

You're absolultely right, but I think its a budget thing. I don't think that this game will be that big on content.
I think the expectations should be leveled in terms of car selection and other fancy stuff. I think they actually just finish this game as is with more of "the same" for the most part.

That being said, they already announced more cars, so who knows if its not international manufacturers too(unless they already denied it somewhere).

If this does well(and imo, it already does) Genki hopefully follows up with another one, with a bigger budget maybe and more elements to it. It would be a shame if this franchise revives, only to be dead after one entry again.

I mean the corvette is fine. I think we just want the Japanese creators to keep it authentic to the actual cultural vibes of Japan. Yes their are some American Muscle cars but not on the same level as european and Japanese cars. Its just American cars is not a common sight.
