Tokyo Xtreme Racer
WORTH IT?
IS THIS GAME WORTH GETTING? DOES IT FEEL LIKE THE OLD CLASSIC ARCADE GAMES OR IS IT JUST ANOTHER MOBILE STYLED GAME PORTED TO PC?

It is all worth it.

It very much feels like a modern take on Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 on the PS2, so if you're familiar with the franchise, or want to give a highway roll racing RPG a go, IMO it's worth the cost of entrance cause it's just that well done at this stage.

Whoa, easy with the Caps Lock there, buddy.

But to answer your question, YES IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT NOT A MOBILE GAME AT ALL BUT THE NEXT TITLE IN A LONG RUNNING JAPANESE RACING GAME SERIES: PROBABLY NOT FOR EVERYONE BUT VERY ADDICTIVE AND UNIQUE GAMEPLAY CONCEPT!

just another mobile game on pc, don't even have a clutch

Absolutely not. The graphics are sub-par. The sound.... on level w. a mobile-game (!!).
The gameplay - repetitive and simple like a game straight out of the game-boy era.

What are you talking about? TXR has been traditionally a console game series from (eg. Dreamcast and PS2). What the hell is happening to Steam these days where everywhere i go i see vitriol and toxicity on the forums. This is a niche, unique racing game that after many years, surprisingly and to the delight of its fans got a new entry (and on PC to too).
Why then do i see posts about "wokeness" and "politics" and downright outrage at this game for being "ugly" or "too expensive" and whatnot. What is going on?

These forums attract so much trolls, dont know why.
Reviews speak for itself, it's just a TXR game, offering exactly what you come to expect and love about a TXR game.

Yessir!
I played Tokyo Xtreme Racer 1 and 2 on Dreamcast a ton back in the day, and I was really worried this new one wouldn't be good like the classics. However, with these control settings it's good. I'm having a great time and would highly recommend.
Dead Zone: 1 (or as low as you can)

Buy it and play it for 2 hours and see for yourself. i would not go by bias comments here. it's basically a console port with hardly any pc support/improvements. it doesn't support many wheels and lacking even FFB -- but to be fair, it's early access, and should of at least offered a discount.. I refunded and bought Assetto Corsa Evo instead.. now that game is totally worth $30 with a discount.

I will come back in 6 months to see its progress. devs haven't even posted a single news post which shows how little they care about the pc community.

It's funny how differently people can view things. I quit playing Assetto Corsa Evo because it was such a disappointment with no content, and now all I play is Tokyo Xtreme Racer. If I wanna play a sim, I'll play the original Assetto Corsa or iRacing. If I wanna play an arcade Racer, I'll play Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 on Dreamcast, or this new one on PC. It's fun with a controller and a heck of a lot more complete than AC Evo. It's got a lot of quality of life improvements over the classic. I didn't realize how good it was until I bought the Silvia. The Handing on that car is so much better than the MX5 Miata's twitchy response. Now I'm addicted.
