By "Assetto Shutoko Mod" i presume you mean the AC Shutoko Revival Project. That can't be compared to TXR since ist's basically just a map for AC. Albeit a nice one. I actually played it, with traffic mod and real shaders. Looks almost photorealistic. Nice atmosphere.
But not comparable at all to TXR, since AC is a realistic racim sim in which you either just cruise around (with or without AI traffic) or create your own championships and race Laps for time and rank.
Will there be a detailed car tuning like it is in night runners?
Will there be cockpit view like they had already on xbox360?
Will there be online mode like you have with the assetto mod?
Will there be upgrades to sound engine?
Or will it just stay the endless no sense in the end endurance dull grind game? And you already have a hard grindlock here where your upgrade and progress flow gets fully capped when you wanna get from stage 1 to stage 2 exhaust for example...
Currently yes ofc its genki xtreme core but will there be anything else "wohoooo 20 years of waiting was it worth"....at least you earn much more credits and xp compared to xtreme racer 1 on dreamcast where in the end summarized it was just "omfg just 50 runs more to get my new bumper"
Unless they get a massive budget to do so, doubt it. Also keep in mind ITC only had 17 cars because they wanted to include interiors
No, multiplayer was never a thing for TXR, don't hope for it
Judging by the reactions of practically everyone who grew up with the series, yes, the wait was worth it
Also please don't compare TXR to both NR or SRP, their only main similarity is the fact they're about street racing on the Japanese highways, and comparison would only leave you disappointed due to misguided expectations
Does Night Runners' drivers have complete bio and backstory?
Night Runners is all bark no bite kind of game - sure, it has very complicated tuning system, but at the same time, you can literally have 3 option for power and handling, and it will do exactly what Night Runners does.
Sometimes the simplest thing gives the most fun, I still play Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 and even Auto Modellista to this day, bet you won't even give those games another look because according to you, they are "soulless and boring".
I bought Dreamcast only cause of Tokyo Xtreme Racer back in the day - just for info for your faulty assumption.
And if for you just grinding and doing the same ♥♥♥♥ for 1000 times just to get a stock item is a thing of "fullfilled joy and gameplay experience" yeah....your way out of my league.
But thanks for the infos about ea progress....guess i have to play them all to enjoy all the specific features of every single game. But compared to night runners - this "new" xtr is a bit lame for what it brings to the table other the core gameplay. Sound is mediocre, graphic mediocre, progress still just a grindfest, presentation mediocre....damn and genki always pushed at least graphics always to a new standard (dc, ps2, 360) but even that is gone....whats left is a hypetrain on yt only cause of ip name...but thats just the norm today. Must settle my expectations on a new lower level i guess....
Played Night Runners... pretty dull. Doesn't even work with my wheel properly. Might be good in a few years.
AC's mod is just that, a mod. Not an actual game.
ITC is like 17-18 years old, feels like a very early demo of this, even though I might dare to say that I like the handling a little bit more in it.
SRP is a mod and No Hesi is a paid mod... there is no lore...
It'd be like comparing GTA V to GTA Online. One is meant for single play, while the other multi play.
