You can challenge the traffic cars to races also

If this was ever a thing in older games also I just don't remember but yeah, for anyone who doesn't know you can flash traffic cars to races also for money as well.

Not that i know of. The original games had traffic (with the exception of TXR3) but as far as i remember you couldn't challenge them. That is indeed a nice addition. Also, CP for near misses and personal records for speed and times of a course. No pit stops though? And no weather.
And personally, i know that doesn't really make sense considering the setting, i always wished for a day/night cycle.

I think the parking areas would be considered the pit stops no? You can get new tires there and tune your car and some addition stuff.
And yeah weather would be cool. Some rain or snow or like dense fog and stuff. Day and night would be cool too but yeah
