A boss car cannot be upgraded, yes, but they are also strong. It's been a feature since the older titles.

Pretty sure you could at least upgrade the performance of boss cars in the LAST titles they released like Import Tuner Challenge.

I am new to the franchise and wasn't aware of this fact I will see how the car performs compared to my current one and quietly seethe and mald if it turns out to be rubbish xD

BOSS cars are definitely not Upgradeable, but they are powerhouses if you get the right one that can last a while

Well that is nice to know. But I'm intentionally not using any of them for a more challenging experience and not in a rush since this is a Early Access title.

yeah same, i just hit a wall and am gonna start a new game and try something else and see what difference it makes overall :D

In my experience some races have been kinda hard but some very easy. Although I've been cruising around a lot then just getting through the current (end-game). I just know the Boss cars can be used to cheese through races but that's just my reason of avoiding them at the moment. I get more adrenaline when my races are neck to neck otherwise it's not fun.

Perhaps if I get through the 'end' of the current version of the game I'll dabble into the Boss cars as my own 'reward' lol.

Most bosses cars are like trophy items for your garage, you can build better versions of them on your own. I remember that this was the case in Import Tuner Challenge also. It wasn't like that in TXR0 and TXR3, a boss car there was better than one you could build and you could also upgrade it.
