The mechanic switches from parking areas so I plan my routes to coincide bosses in order to get that extra advantage from the tune up
C1-Loop kill every fast car, bc no long straight and dense traffic kill the ai
The game makes you be creative in defeating rivals. Its more than "hold gas to win". Blocking and bumping enemy into barriers and other cars, initiating/winning races in sections you have an advantage etc is all fair and established gameplay.
A huge reason why TXR online would be a insanely toxic and annoying player base to listen to. One side would say the correct way to play is to use irl track etiquette when passing and picking lines. The opposite side would not care and smash them into walls, block them, and do whatever to win.
I used BR-Z when i accidentally defeated Eternal Polaris when she hit the divider wall in Ginza.
Previously i also beat Perfect Revolution with the same BR-Z, we met at the bayshore line just before the Tatsumi PA, i took him to a duel on the fùkagawa line and lost at least 7 times until arrived at C1 inner loop, i beat him on my second try when he hit a Dyna in the tunnel, total 9 attempts and 8 losses.
Shuva Shuva Strong on the other hand, my god, no idea how to beat as he drives on bayshore where acceleration and top speed is king.
