genuine question but i don't get the obsession with people constantly asking for VR ports for everything, what's the point when it'll net minimal returns anyways since it'll be such a niche part of the intended audience?

Yeah this isn't the game for VR driving.

This game doesn't even have cockpit and you're asking for VR? Literally NPC, use your brain kid.

Because racing games are the only genre that -no matter what- "just works" in vr.

Works perfectly with UEVR and it's actually awesome. So it can be done. Since it's a UE5 title, an official VR mode wouldn't be too hard to implement.

But the game is still in early access for now, and it's quite good, no pressure or anything. But I don't see why an arcade racing game would be less interesting than a sim for vr.

There is, actually, a very rudimentary cockpit view :

So I don't know who is the "NPC" here.

Somebody is on it, from the discord.

3rd person driving games are a little bit odd, but if VR views are positive, ill probably buy in.

Well they didn't model the full cockpit but it is nice to see it there. Maybe some modders will do the whole thing.

You use a profile to get inside the car? I'm stuck with hood cam, how'd you do this?!

Choose the hood cam, then adjust the camera with UEVR to get inside the cockpit. There is a tab within the tool that let you do this :)

Do you owned or even tried VR ?

I see that people who have never tried VR are always asking + assuming + guess

I guess that’s why VR will never be. Mainstream

I literally own a quest 2, and have been more than a few dozen hours in VR, yet i still don't get the necessity to VR-ify literally everything
