Is Tokyo Xtreme Racer kind of an homage to Import Tuner Challenge from the Xbox 360 days?

Import Tuner Challenge was a re-branded Tokyo Extreme Racer game. Its the same game, just a revival.

this and import tuner come from before that sir lol its not paying homage this is the gameplay all the games had,the series been around well before import tuner

Same series. Original name was Shutokou Battle and was renamed for the west to Tokyo Xtreme Racer. Import Tuner Challenge was in Japan "Shutokou Battle X".
