Visual C++ Error

just bought the game, when i launch it says i need to install visual c++ runtime. Went and installed every single version of it in existence, still has the same error.
any help?

I've done that and still get the error. I think the problem is with Steam

I installed both the x86 and x64 and that worked for me

You have to install it manually and no you don't need all of them. The C++ installer from the game is just wonky and doesn't work (at least not for me)

Install the VC++ all-in-one bundle by techpowerup, all old and new versions of it.
Had the same problem and it worked afterwards without any issues

Simply use the install bat in the folder and you're ready to go

This here is the key. Manually re-installing them (yes, including Repairs) does the trick. I don't know which one fixed it for me. The game need to tell us which version was required. In the meantime, just install/re-install every single version.
