I'm going to stop here because the point has been proven. The OP doesn't want the new game to stay in spirit with the older ones but rather stay within their own box of what this game should be.
Also I loved using my Viper in TXR0 that thing was a beast.
Besides, the devs themselves want imports, but the licensing is too hard right now.
