[BUG][Issue] BOSS [SHUWA SHUWA STRONG] is too powerfu, and players have tried their best but still cannot defeat it
New game balance bug issue, BOSS [SHUWA SHUWA STRONG] uses a vehicle [MAZDA3 FASTBACK 20S Retro Sports Edition (BPFJ3R)'23] that is too powerful. It can reach a top speed of 400km/h in a straight line, even though my vehicle has 340 horsepower, I still tried my best but couldn't defeat it....

Where you race is more important than what you race with; if you're getting out-paced on the straights, follow them to a bendy bit of the road and beat them there. I find the AI has a real hard time with heavy traffic in the narrow sections, making some of the tougher fights much easier.

I believe that he was buffed since I beat him on a straight (completely outpacing him even) prior to the balancing changes and no longer can; however, you're definitely not going to catch him on a straight without NOS.

Edit: Because I know some goober is going to try and say something dumb, by "I no longer can" I mean with pre-Cinderella tunings and cars and the same RX8 setup I used prior. My WRX smokes him.

Shuwa is beatable in a straight line, but so far I've only been able to do that with cars like the Skyline, Supra, or RX-7; and by utilizing NOS with those cars. I had the easiest time with the RX-7 because it has great top-speed.

I didn't really try to beat him until after unlocking the parts after Midnight Cinderella since he's one of the fastest straight-line cars in the current build, but it is also possible to beat Shuwa with a less powerful car if you catch him at a curve or corner, as he slows down pretty significantly for those - or if you manage to trap him behind a traffic car.
It's that AWD Mazda 3 with Skyactiv-G technology

never underestimate mazdas ESPECIALLY with AWD and Skyactiv-G

those things launch (even in stock form they launch pretty hard) [Speaking from experience]

Yes, gameplay is still unfinished for this Early Access. People say you can beat the bosses with normal tuning, but that is not true. You have to use crappy "cheese" mechanics like making the Bosses crash into civilian cars or the environment to win- or trying to pass them when braking during turns.

Hopefully Genki lets us actually use fair tuning options or cars earlier in the game so we can have a chance to strategize against these Rivals. I wouldn't mind starting out with an A80 Supra for instance, so long as I get to unlock the power upgrades for it as I beat more Rivals. Something like that.
hit nitrous all the way to keep up until he tops out speed. get gud.

You're not going to beat the later bosses in a straight drag race. You need to use some strategy and tactics to win. Sure they're super fast in a straight line, but they can't corner for anything... so wait to engage them in a curvy section. They'll hit the brakes and you can breeze right by.
Next people will complain about rolling master

People already complaint about Rolling Gal #1 immediately after Angel's nerf.

I think that people nowadays just complain for the sake of complaining because they feel its the quickest way to solve their problems (when it's really not)

huh?
You need to beat Shuwa BEFORE Cinderella. in 0.10.3 Shuwa and Chiritsumo locks one engine part by themselves, and they both were pre-Cinderella bosses (plus Angel and Yamitengu)
So your recipe for beating Shuwa would be a campaign paradox.

Instead this is how I beat him with fresh 0.10.3 restart: RX-8, all obtainable upgrades, and most importantly start the battle before Daikoku PA's curve (there's a bridge before that, aim for triggering battle at the end of it because bosses have a long-ass intro). You should be able to overtake him during the long curve, then just proceed to let him rear-end you.

he won't top out speed. post 0.10.3 Shuwa's top speed got buffed to like 330 km/h or something. No pre-Cinderella vehicle can reach this speed. Instead you have to either wait until he gets to Daikoku (or if you are THAT patient, C1) before starting battle.
The "top out speed" suggestion only applies to pre-0.10.3 Shuwa when his top speed was like 250.

You don't need to wait till they get there, ram into him at high speeds on the freeway and push him to wherever you want to start the race at. You can get a big conga line of cars that will despawn when it starts even going like 160km/h

the fact you consider time saving a cheese is pretty something. So sitting at the point to where you want to fight isnt a cheese? even when the ai will get stuck in massive pileups and you will be sitting there forever?

Exept you cannot as no cars before cinderella lock apart from rx8 and s14 has a chance of catching up to him even with nitro.

All who say he is easy beat him BEFORE the buff, has any of you tried him AFTER the buff on a new save file??

If not here is how it is today: no cars with a engine displacement above 2L default is available, all tuning parts are available apart from the last engine upgrade.

Now, go out and beat him on a STRAIGHT line ONLY!, no corners, no waiting for the P.A, no crashing, no PA 1 night tuner buff, and then tell me he does NOT need a HEAVY! nerf.
