Game Progressing but Not Unlocking

I’ve now logged 12.5 hours in TXR on my Steam Deck and like everyone else, I love it. However, I have not unlocked any new dealer cars, parts, or skills. I am unlocking boss cars but that’s it. Still just rocking a maxed out level 1 AE86.

Any ideas how to fix this? I’d hate to start a brand new game for the same thing to happen.

each blue cars u race give u skill points and then u unlock them

You have to expend your accrued "BP" on the Perks screen and manually unlock each car on its respective manufacturer brand tree. Then buy them using your earned credit points from the Dealer menu.

On the "perks" tab there are more choices than attack and defense. You need to unlock them. Go over to skills, machine, tuning, etc. Admittedly it is not self-explanatory, but they're there.

if its racers also parking arenas race them cars in there and u unlock the next chapter i got stuck thinking was over but them cars in parking arena moved me to the next stage

Thank you! I had no idea this menu had anything going on. This solved my problem.
