https://tokyoxtremeracer.fandom.com/wiki/EIC@MSR Tsuchiya-san for whatever reason doesn't use AE86 and instead drives DeTomaso Pantera GTS
I wonder if Taniguchi-san comes back later in the new game will he drive one of his D1 cars, or will he get a Hatsune Miku AMG based on the GT3 car he's been driving for the past 10 years lol https://www.goodsmileracing.com/en/team/
While the symbol isn't exactly a German Hakenkreuz, it's close enough https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afrikaner_Weerstandsbeweging
The game even describes him as a "Samurai Racer" which is extra funny.
I don't have the game on my PC currently to get the proper high quality screenshots so a random youtube video is all that I have at the moment

in the same game as the Audi guy you can unlock a real life D1GP car, an AE86 Levin swapped with a Trueno front.

Here's how the car looks like in game and IRL. Yoshioka-san drove this car in D1 in 2002 and 2003 and swapped to a red Sprinter Trueno in 2004
Project Mu Brakes have all their branding in this green/teal colour as you can see on their website https://www.project-mu.co.jp/en/
There is another thing that is "Project" and "Mu" that is white and pink, and that is Love Live: School Idol Project https://www.crunchyroll.com/imgsrv/display/thumbnail/1200x675/catalog/crunchyroll/0879534a677ac269a8d6498f6cd23add.jpe
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Live!_School_Idol_Project
The promotional images even feature similar fonts and almost the exact same shade of pink. It is an anime about a group of high school girls who form a school idol group called Muse written with a same Greek letter μ
Okay, this might be a big stretch, but hear me out.
I tried looking up anything about this guy what did I found? An interview with him (which coincidentally explains why his car in TXRD2 has such a weird power delivery)
https://youtu.be/AM-g7gmd0i8?t=150 a timestamp to a relevant quote, even the guy who's doing the interview seems to be on it, looks straight into the camera and says "That's the secret, the Start Dash"
Meanwhile with Love Live literally the first song in the show is titled the exact same way, performed at the end of episode 3, here I also need to use an old Youtube video episode review with a timestamp https://youtu.be/kRT9rDfMmKw?t=274
Now, how does this have anything to do with time travel? Love Live School Idol Project came out in 2012, 9 years after Yoshioka-san stopped using this car. If this is just a coincidence, then this is one hell of a coincidence lol
