Tokyo Xtreme Racer
Return some of the old TXR2 features.
When racing a rival that only drives a specific route of the expressway in TXR2, you could force them to change routes by pulling ahead enough to get them to change exits and continue the battle on another part of the expressway. Now, they default to their part of the expressway, resulting in a draw. That needs to change.

Additionally, I don't like the perk system where you have to use points gained to unlock parts to buy. In TXR2, you just bought them with CP won from battles and you'd level up those parts as you defeated rivals and unlocked new parts of the expressway to be more competitive. The CP limit needs to go away as well.

I also think the top speeds need to be increased. In TXR2, I had an NSX and a Viper that could reach 252 MPH on the Wangan Line. While the speed is still impressive and the camera shake adds an extra degree of intensity to it, it needs to be tuned up a bit.

The cursor on the controller is a little annoying to deal with, I think that needs to be fixed.

I'd like to see remixes of the OST from specifically the TXR 1 & 2 games be introduced. I'd also like to see the full OST of every single TXR game available as a download and the ability to add them to the game for nostalgia.

I don't know about others, but I actually miss the post-race summary screen from the previous titles. Can we get that back? Or at least in the form of a small HUD element that appears briefly in the corner of the screen while we resume driving?

In TXR 2, we not only had severe tire wear after being out on the expressway for 30 miles, but the engine would lose power, the transmission would shift slower, the car overall dropped off in performance. Could we get that back?

the old system is still there just theyre more inclined to not follow you anymore. ive made them switch without the blinkers even with the new "rivals route" update. you can see it the highlighted path change real time if you hit your blinkers or force them to another path.

i definitely agree with the top speeds. theres a weird speed wall effect going on. dont know if its traction/stability control by default or the game.

i also want post race data.

Yes, I still play the older TXR titles and do miss the more polished gameplay design. The unlock progression system in this game wasn't thoroughly thought out- instead of BP they should go back to normal credit point unlocks and maybe make it cooler like storymode progression unlocks instead (like only after beating certain bosses or beating bosses in a special order).

Top speed is also annoying. With high-level transmission and tires you should theoretically be able to go past 240km/h easily all the time, but this game design doesn't make it easy for you. :MHRISE_Felyne: Maybe later, let you go faster with better aero and body upgrades or SOMETHING.
