Logitech Pro Wheel - getting force feedback to actually work
After some trouble shooting and trying different methods I finally got "real" force feedback to work in this beautiful game. Not sure if this will work with any other wheel set ups but it works for logitech pro wheel.

1) have ghub running in background but DO NOT power on your wheel yet.
2) launch game
3) continue your game and go to your garage
4) once in your garage power on your wheel.
- do not power on your wheel until in your garage it will not work properly otherwise.
5) enter course and you're good to go.

side note - there has been a few occasions when going back to the garage and re-entering course that the force feedback no longer worked. I was able to figure out that if this happens simply turn off your wheel and turn it back on while on the highway "course".

- if you power on your wheel before launching the game force feedback will not work properly.

- if you power on your wheel in the games main menu force feedback will not work properly.
enter your garage and then turn your wheel on.

hope this helps someone!

thanks, this works. I also used the settings from this other post https://steamcommunity.com/app/2634950/discussions/0/596264973809756231/

oh i also forgot to mention that if using a logitech pro wheel set the force feedback filter to a minimum of 11, i have mine maxed at 15. anything lower and you'll feel the wheel's frequency fighting the game.
yeah, this isn't working anymore since the latest update. maybe they'll get it together and make this game compatible with DD
