I'd assume crossplay works on a game by game basis for Switch titles, and, to be fair, titles like Breakers Collection and Battle for the Grid (also, I think, one of the Nick All-Star Brawl games) has cross-play on the Switch versions. Not sure why its hard for Capcom to do the same here though.

Yeah, the game not coming to Xbox is also weird enough, considering previous Xbox ports of some of those games exist.

Yeah, the game not coming to Xbox is also weird enough, considering previous Xbox ports of some of those games exist.

they do and I still own them digitally even though my 360 is in storage. I’m hoping it gets a port to Xbox nonetheless.

Might be because of Capcom ID. But who knows at this point

Hopefully they release a physical version of the game on consoles, because I'll probably end up buying it twice if so. I'll daily drive it on Steam and keep a shrink-wrapped copy for the PS5 version for collector's purposes.

Hopefully at least PS4/PS5 and PC have crossplay. The Switch might be a pain to put rollback on without a big budget (although the Switch 2 should be good to go!).

Hopefully this all leads to the next ultimate wish for Marvel vs. Capcom... ROLLBACK AND CROSSPLAY FOR UMvC3!!! (and then Marvel vs. Capcom 5!)
