Local Multiplayer
Does this game have local multiplayer? Because at the moment it doesn't seem to be working. I have a keyboard and plugged in a controller but it only registers as player one. The keyboard and controller are not separate players. Does this game not have SF6's option to separate the controller and keyboard?

Because he's wrong it. It absolutely has local multiplayer. Just plug in a second controller and hit start.
Does the keyboard not count as a 2nd controller?

Negative. The game requires actual controllers to play. I can tell you from first-hand experience, plug in two controllers and you're golden, I promise.

It does not have any local Multiplayer or quick rematch features. It's a direct arcade port meaning the ROM behaves exactly like a coin op arcade machine and winners of games don't get to re-pick their teams after a 2nd player challenge.

but why does it say on the website that the game supports 1-2 players (up to 9 online)?

Completely incorrect. It does have local multiplayer. Just plug in a second controller and hit start.

Been having the same issue, keyboard and controller both register themselves as P1

It is kind of annoying, I hope they make some sort of fix.

I just did it and it worked with a second controller. Confirming keyboard and first controller are recognised as one controller. You must use a second actual controller.

I did it just to get the Rogue achievement.

I'm looking at the Razer Kitsune. Although that might be an expensive investment if the only two (three when Capcom Collection 2 releases next year) are Street Fighter 6 and Marvel vs Capcom Collection.

Maybe look into something cheaper if you don’t want to make a large investment. Maybe like a Haute42 controller?

Wired 360 controllers often go for twenty bucks and work great.
