This use to a fun game in the arcade days. But every game you play online has sentinel, storm, magneto or cable. It makes the rest of the characters in the game irrelevant and uninteresting. Marvel rivals is much better.

It's a shame yo but the games were not balanced back then, and honestly if you were REALLY playing this game in the arcade you saw MSP all the time. You just probably remember playing against CPUs.

it's not like msp is unbeatable either, but then of course people will counter argument "but casuals don't know how to counter msp with low tiers" at which point all I can say is learn how or play msp yourself, either way it is doable even if difficult.

Because the so-called veterans are so nubis that they only know how to play with the most broken characters in the game. Personally, my third is Morrigan, Rogue, Felicia or Full Darkstalkers.
According to 20 years of veterans and they still play with the same broken ones lol

I made a similar post earlier about how most people need to have a broken, OP, God-Tier character in their team (Sentinel, Magneto, Storm.) It does make the game super boring trying to use your low/mid tier teams, but I will admit, it has made me a better player overall. That being said, I'd gladly be a "lesser" player if it meant I could have more fun with the game.

Most gamers are casual gamers. To showcase how they prioritize other things in their lives over video games is not the flex you think it is.

Justin Wong was a professional gamer and now content creator. Pointing out the exceptions doesn't prove anything.

Justin isn't the exception as he's not the only player to do it, he's just one of the different pieces of proof you can beat most people running top tier teams because most of them lack the skill to use the team properly (which even he admitted is why it works when he uses low tier teams) outside of them maybe being able to perform some of the combos. Either learn the dang game and your characters, go find a discord playing point format, play top tier yourself, or quit.

I don't know why y'all willing came into a game that is not casual friendly and is known for being an unbalanced ToD nuke game then started complaining when people won't play low tiers and did top tier ToDs and infinites on you.

Justin Wong IS an exception in the sense that he is a top player in an already small, and niche genre. You’re right, he isn’t the only one. But when compared to all other games, gamers, and generes, he and the rest of the top players represent less than a fraction of a percentage of players.

As far everything else that you said, it’s the internet. This IS the place to b!tch and moan about this stuff (that and share pornography with one another.) haha

Your schtick is getting old bro.

Justin is not the exception, there are many players that are not famous that can play this game well enough to beat the rest of the player base. I’m one of them and there are others on this forum as well or other social networks.

And claiming casuals have more of a life over somebody else because they are bad a at game is a fallacy argument and bad take. Just because those players can’t grasp what it takes to be good at one particular game over others doesn’t mean jack. That same fail argument can be said the other way around about any other game making your point moot.

I have personally responded to post here and even open up my discord to try to help these casuals but they refuse to put in the work. They can’t even be bothered with getting the help they seek when someone like me is here willing to help. You can take a man to a river but can’t force them to drink the water.

The issue here is not the better players, the issue here is you casuals who demand help but won’t take it when it’s literally at your feet.
