This use to a fun game in the arcade days. But every game you play online has sentinel, storm, magneto or cable. It makes the rest of the characters in the game irrelevant and uninteresting. Marvel rivals is much better.

It's a shame yo but the games were not balanced back then, and honestly if you were REALLY playing this game in the arcade you saw MSP all the time. You just probably remember playing against CPUs.

I get you OP. That's why it's not worth 20% off. I need at least 50% off. But yeah playing with the same teams just to win is boring. Just rename the game to MSSC. My friends and I didn't know about all the broken stuff until late in the games life so we had a blast using the entire cast.

There will always be "top teams". If you want to play casually, make friends and play casually. Even back when MVC2 was on Xbox Arcade, it was like that. And in arcades, with any group of semi-serious players, you'd run into the top tiers.

If you're going to play randoms, you have to expect the meta to be what you're going to go up against. You can either learn to play against it, or just sull up and blame the world. One of these options lets you grow as a person, the other one just shows how selfish, childish, and scrubby you are.

Need I mention the scrublords prayer?

It was worth $35 IMSHO, but my sweetie purchased it for me as a Christmas gift.

She used to own me on Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2. She's going to try it sometime and see how she feels about competing again.

I enjoy playing a couple of the games for about 15 to 30 minutes from time to time.
