Should i really buy this game?
I've been thinking about getting this game, but i'm not 100% sure.
For starters, no, i am NOT going to spend 50 bucks on this game. I'm going to get it on a key site for a cheaper price.

I want to get this game because i'm a huge MVC fan. It's probably my fav fighting game franchise and, while Fightcade does exist, i find it to be a bit overwhelming to use (especially for newcomers). Also i'm a bit confused by Fightcade's ranking system and i don't want to ONLY fight pros (i do wanna get better tho, even tho i mostly tend to play for fun, but again i'm willing to get better).

The thing is, i've seen people say this game might die and become a Discord fighter in a few months/by the end of the year because it doesn't have crossplay or something, which gets me worried. Not only that, but i also can't manage to find any Discord servers/Practicing groups (i did find a discord server, but it doesn't seem to be super active and i don't want to ONLY fight pros, i'm mostly here for fun (but again, i'm willing to get better at the games))

Overall, i'm tempted to get this game for its online, its ranking system and its beginner/newcomer-friendly aspect (cause i might convince some friends to hop on mahvel), but i'm worried about its lifespan and i don't know if it is worth it. I also have a friend who's got the game so that might convince me to get it aswell?

I'm sorry if this comes out as a silly post, but i thought i'd ask people what they think about this and i wanted to know if getting this game was a good decision according to you guys.

If ratio rules interest you, I sit by the MvC2 Ratio mod's lobby pretty often these days. I had a 5-hour session of the Ratio mod earlier this month.

Fightcade rank wouldn't always accurately reflect on how good of a player one is, but that probably depends on the game. I could be Rank C in Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, for example, but that doesn't mean I'm any good at it. I see it as more like the amount of ranked matches I won were higher compared to the ranked matches I lost.

The extra $10 on the price compared to other collections might be due to the Marvel license? Don't treat it as Gospel, though, unless it really is.

Anyways, I guarantee you'll body me if we meet on Fightcade :Chun_Li:

The ranking system goes by how many points you have which comes from how many people you beat. For instance im diamond... but im beating top 10 and top 20's quites easily although I've lost to Justin (Wazzler) twice now and the first one was just stupid all he did was fierce kick with Cyclops and bring in Morgan assist... im like this cant be actually working... second time it went way different he still got me. Point is if you got 8 hours a day to play.... lol....then your rank will be high if you beating folks but im only getting like 35 to 145 points per person depending on there level so it doesn't accurately depict skill level in my opinion. Side note if you want to practice im game. Its not all about wins for me so I don't mind helping you level up.

Side note: I bought the physical copy for PS4 coming out in Dec and the steam copy simply cause its been ages since I played it and didn't want to be way behind by Decemeber ha.... so it depends on how much funds you got to blow lol
