How does Co-op work? Can i partner with CPU?
It says on the store page that these can be played "online or co-op".

What exactly do they mean by co-op? or is this just for The Punisher?

I heard these fighting games support up to 4 players.

I already know i can pick two characters and face off against someone else who picks two characters.. but what i'd like to know is:

1. Can Me and my brother each pick a character and be on the SAME team, tagging each-other and facing off against the CPU?

2. Is there a way that I can i tag team with a CPU ally? [So when i tag them in, the CPU controls the other character while i take a break and let them fight for a bit until they tag me back in.]

3. If i have 3 human players, can I let the 4th player be the CPU to fill in?

4. Can i have 2 humans on one tag team and 1 human controlling both characters of the other tag team [assuming they didn't want a cpu for a partner]?

5. Are all of these games in this collection allow up to 4 players?

Coop function probably is just for The Punisher, a beat 'em up game.

These would be amazing functions if they put them in. If they did, I would imagine they would have advertised it.

Capcom's site says its just for the punisher game. That's sad. Marvel vs Capcom 1 on the Dreamcast had 4 player ...so that did have co-op in it. That was a lot of fun to play in my early 20's...

Yeah, it would have been awesome if MVC 1 in this collection was the DC version that included Cross Fever mode for 4 players (each player controls one character). But alas, it isn't. >.>

But yeah, the co-op tag is most likely referring to The Punisher. Which you can also drop in/out of matches at any time if the host player has it open for everyone. None of it will affect the other games TC. Though it would be nice if it had a feature for the tag games to have multiplayer support for more than 2 players for each character similar to DC MVC 1's Cross Fever mode.

Damn, that's such good news, didn't know you would be able to drop in/out. Games nowadays should all come with this functionality!

@ThalesjferreiraI
They also did this on the Beat-Em-Up Bundle too, which also has drop-in/drop-out support for online matchmaking.

Did you guys have any luck in trying to create a punisher gamne? Is it only via lobby?
