MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics

MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics

Unpopular opinion?
I think Capcom should release those titles as a collection as well as individually. I really don't want all these games. I literally want Marvel Vs Capcom 2.

It's awful having to pay for the entire bundle when I specifically want only 1 game.

They should do like SNK and release them individually.

The incentive to get the bundle would be all the extras like soundtrack, museum for artwork etc.

Please.. let me pay 10 - 20 bucks or whatever and buy MVC2 only.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 is certainly by far the best of the batch however the others are good too. X-Men vs Street Fighter was so fun back in the day, and I never got to try Children of the Atom. Overall this batch will not disappoint.

I don't even agree that Marvel vs Capcom 2 is the best one. I like Marvel vs Capcom 1 better, but at this moment, I only want 1 game from this collection, which is MvC2 because is the one I've played very little.

I played thousands of hours of the previous titles already. I only want to buy MvC2 and it's a shame they are all stuck in one bundle.

Children of the atom is a little rough but if they sold them separately no one would pick up the other games. Mvc2 is working for the whole thing. As a result, when I get this I will get all the others too. Plus the punisher, which I remember from the arcade.

Agreed if I have to pay for all of them

the idea is to keep up these games alive in someway yes MCV2 is the best one. but you know the old game has to be known too

Try to find MvC2 by itself for less than $49.99

This is by far the easiest and cheapest way to play this game. It hasn't been available for 11 years or so at this point.

Go buy a PS2, a used copy of MvC2, and a memory card and see if that's cheaper.
Or go buy one of those mini-arcades.

Most of y'all don't understand how GREAT an opportunity this is!

Yeah it's actually even kinda like Marvel vs Capcom 2 plus a batch of free games.

You'll struggle to find MvC2 legally for less than $50. Getting it in a collection along with other great games is a steal.

XMen vs SF, MvC1 and MvC2 alone are probably well over $100. Not to mention the other titles you're getting.

That's an invalid argument.
You are a talking about a rare old physical copy. A lot of retro games get expansive due to the lack of availability. It's meant for collectors and those prices aren't regulated in any way. It's literally people taking advantage of how hard it is to come by,

In case you don't know, Marvel vs Capcom 2 was released digitally in 2009 on Xbox Live Arcade by itself for 20 bucks. This is what I'm talking about. This would cost 20 dollars by itself on Steam if Capcom chose to release alone.

I know the bundle as a whole is a good deal.. but only if you are interested in all these games. If you want just one, it's a bad deal and no, MvC2 is not worth 50 dollars by itself.

They would more than likely charge more than $20, probably $30 or even just go all out $40 and say adjusted for the 13 years inflation. No way Capcom would sell the collection seller on it's own for half the price. Dreamers

I bought the collection for Marvel Superheroes, not MvC2, and was worth the price of entry at any cost.

i only want to play the punisher online co-op and not about to pay $50-$40 just to do that.

MvC2 is much better than SvC sand SvC sells less at $20.

I'm happy I got it as a Christmas gift. Fanatical had it on sale for under $35 (plus tax. over $36.01) for all those games it's a great deal.

I've already played MvC, MvC2, and one other game a couple times.

This is a dream come true for me and others.
