PLAYSTATION CONTROLS + Controller Mapping FIX

Go into the game directory and open the INI and put this in:

[JOYPAD]
ProductName=DualSense Edge Wireless Controller
A=1
B=2
X=0
Y=3

[GAME]
ButtonPrompt=PS4

NOTES
Don't enable Steam input on the controller. They all work natively with these settings, just make sure you leave the button prompt section alone if you're using an xbox controller.

There is no D-Pad for the game, its joystick only. Additionally, the top buttons are setup so the assists are all on the right by default.

If I find out the game supports the Dpad I will let you know but at this time, I can't seem to get it to work. Someone may have to make a mod that enables the Dpad if that is even possible. If you look at the INI it literally only has the joystick in the config, so we would have to figure out what the engine calls the Dpad.

I'm the same. Even in Tekken I always use the Dpad, so I too am a little bummed that I can only use the joystick. I will let you know if it ever gets fixed.

Go to your controller settings and turn on steam input. It will then allow you to use your dpad. You will still see the xbox buttons, but X=A, O=B and such.

See I tried that but then the game acted like I had two controllers connected and I was controlling both 1P and 2P with my one controller so I had to disable it. Also it didn't seem to make the Dpad work either, but I will try it again.

So, it worked this time but it disabled being able to alt+tab out of the game.

EDIT: I just found out it changed the combination from Alt+Tab to Windows button + tab lol
