Buttons acting weird?

I have to press the wrong buttons to navigate thru the game i’m on a razer arcade stick for PlayStation (game tells me to press A/X for PS to start the game but only starts when I press B/O) Anyone else experiencing this?

yup same issue with me even in game they are all acting weird like X being read as triangle and what not

you can still play you will just need to fiddle around until you get the buttons in game to be where you want them to be

Glad i'm not the only one who absolutely can't stand that the buttons aren't labeled properly, even though Steam says "This game is compatible with your Dual Shock." whats worse is: the way the game assigns B/A and X/Y is backwards like on a Nintendo.

oh crap I wonder if its literally using switch inputs that would make it make so much more sense atm lol

if that's the case then it definitely needs to get patched asap

If you are using a playstation based stick, Go into steam settings>Controller>External Gamepad settings. Enable playstation controller support. My was set to "enable in games w/o support" and after changing it to enable my buttons were normal. hope this helps

Go to the game in your library. Right click hit properties. Go to controller and turn on steam input. If you are using a PS controller or stick it should fix the funky button layout. It will still show as xbox buttons though

Now when I go into training it boots up a 2P controller as soon as I move the arcade stick this is so weird lol

I'm using a dualsense edge. I'm seeing xbox buttons and when I press x, it takes me out to the menu. I tried doing the fix recommended here, but it didn't work. I'll try to turn on steam input.
