Linux and CrossPlay.

Consider making the game Linux compatible so it can run natively on the Steam Deck & adding CrossPlay so we can play with our friends on the Nintendo Switch & Play Station.

While I can't add too much to the linux portion of the discussion. I beg of Capcom to please make it cross-play.

I anxiously purchased the Capcom Fighting Game Collection which was great for maybe a month then became increasingly impossible to find matches on. It was a shame.

It will most likely run on Linux because of proton, even if it is not a native version. Street Figher 4, 5, 30th Anniversary Collection, MvC 3, MvC infinite work smoothly on Linux so this collection will definitely work.

As the previous poster have said, it will work fine on Linux, don't worry. Gaming on Linux has come a long way and nowadays almost every game runs on it (with those games with intrusive kernel-level anticheat being the exception, but those are so invasive to your privacy that they aren't even worth it to begin it).

About the crossplay: we haven't heard anything about it, but it would be great if this collection gets crossplay. Past Capcom collections don't have crossplay though, so I'm not very hopeful on this matter.

Unfortunately, cross-play isn't going to happen. Proton will most likely work for the game, the only thing that could mess that up is if they choose to use some form of anti-cheat, but I think they may not since this isn't going to be a new massively popular competitive scene.
