Where's the ROM?

I just bought the game, but unlike the demo, I can't see the NES ROM in the game's folder anywhere.

EDIT: Since making this post, the ROM's been added to the Plugins folder.

Probably to prevent piracy. Since the demo was free it was fine to package the NES ROM with it since that too was a demo.

I'm also extremely surprised to find no rom from the game in the folder. I bought it to be able to play on an emulator or NES console via Everdrive.

Good news; there was a silent update earlier and now it seems to be in the Rugrats_Data -> Plugins folder.

That links appears to be dead. Can someone summarize what it said? I think I see the file:

..\steamapps\common\Rugrats Advenutres in Gameland\Rugrats_Data\Plugins\steamworks_rugrats

But it's not clear to me how to uncompressed it.

Hmm, not sure why that topic got nuked. So, the "steamworks_rugrats" file is compressed with the .7z format. You can use 7-Zip to extract it. Once you get the uncompressed file (about 524 KB in size), add ".nes" to the end and it will load in an NES emulator as normal. It works like a normal NES rom, with full audio and no apparent issues thus far. Hope this helps!

if anyone comes into this topic looking for the rom, they changed it so you have to beat the game first then it appears in the install directory.

Once you beat the game you can browse its folder and nes rom will be inside saying congrats rugrats.nes
