how do i play/sim games??

so i am on game day, i go to the manage tab, i can "analyze" the team or"simulate 1 day" no option to actually call the plays for the game.

but the issue is i click on sim 1 day and nothing happens, i click analyze team and it brings up info about my team and their team but nothing to like actually initiate the game or sim it...

when i click the sim 1 day button it seems like another window opens but then closes real fast.

but that's basically my problem, have absolutely no idea how to advance past this game, i see no way to actually initiate/sim the game...

On the 'Schedule' tab enable the checkbox to 'Show/Control Your Team's Games'.
