Fisherman won't trigger!

I don't do much else than winch disabled vehicles out of the water, but this achievement doesn't want to end up in my list...

I've tried dumping the UAZ and all sorts of trucks at the bottom of the lake on the Coast map then winching them up from the beach, but still no achievement.

Am I doing something wrong?
Does this require the large recovery vehicle?

Help!

The above two screen shots did not result in the achivement.
(the UAZ in the second picture only had the tire on the trunk visible above the water)

That is terrible! But good for my part as I know that I'm not the only one.
Doesn't make it less frustrating and irritating tho'
They fixed so people couldn't cheat to get this achievement but when doing so they screwed it up completely. Good work /golfclap.

My perfect game has to wait for another update then...

there are many achievements which dont work after update, at least for me, tried many on different maps and but no luck

Which ones?
I had issues with the size does/doesn't matter ones until I noticed that you have to complete them on maps where there are two objectives(Coast and River)
i.e.
You only use small logs on objective 1
restart the map
You only use long logs on objective 1

The achievements doesn't trigger after you hit "all objective completed" seems the code goes like this
if(game.checkObj()){
Youwon();
return;
}
checkAchievements();
....

Sorry to hear you're having issues. I hate it when achievements don't trigger when they should. If you think it's due to the last update, have you tried loading the "legacy" beta and going for it? It only takes a few minutes to switch, depending on your internet speed, but you will lose any gamesaves you have. Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear it man. I got that one a long time ago, so I can't test out ideas. I'm guessing you don't, but you don't have any mods installed, do you? That's really the only other thing I can think of.

Nope I haven't got any mods installed. I appreciate your suggestions :)
The only thing left is to have the truck laying on its side, I tried that "pre-legacy beta" but it's nearly impossibru to flip trucks over(As the UAZ can't be submerged as it's floating)

~10 hrs of trying, I decided that I've had enough!
Thank you Lucas McCain for your suggestions, but this game goes "grey" until a major patch is released. It was a good run Spintires. :7

Thanks I appreciate it, but I'm not going to use a .torrent to fix my game.
I'm running the legacy beta atm and does not dare downloading something off the interwebs.
Turning off Steam is an idea worth trying tho'

• achievements mechanics made robust (all are achievable 100%)

• changes to truck-in-mud mechanics: moving at low speed made more effective

So yeah, I'm not having problems getting that achievement, because it has been fixed, 100%!
