How do I separate gas and brake pedal in the wheel menu?

Gas and brake seem to be combined, the options in the wheel menu are:
- accelerate-brake
- brake
- everything else

So that when I don't step on the gas pedal, it brakes.
When I lift the gas pedal, when I get to exactly 50% of the pedal movement, the brakes engage.
How do I separate gas and brake pedals?

Go to your wheels property page in windows and deselect combined pedals.

You don't. You need to go into teh driver for your steering wheel controller and tell it to "combine" both axes; then it will set the value to 50% when neither pedal is depressed. (Edit: What Cubejam said.)(Edit edit: Cubejam is wrong.)

combined pedals is not activated in my wheel option menu and I'm not going to mess up with it, since it's perfect for any other driving game at the moment.

Why can't we just have an option to deselect combined pedals in game?

I am G27 user too , everything works fine on me.
But I DL Logotech gaming profile , ST has regonized my wheel , but there was gas & brake axis problem when I play the beta version last night , but works fine on normal version.
