Explain further. Are you experiencing a very heavy input lag or is it more of a lack of responsivness on the vehicles part? The trucks don't react very fast to movements. What kind of input device are you using (keyboard/controller/wheel)?

I have using my keyboard and its a very heavy lag it seems like. my computer is only 6omnths old so I wouldn't thing it would have anything to do with that. im also trying too play car mechanic and the mouse response it super slow and lag behind. idk if this is related but I cant play spintires the way its acting

What's your fps during the game time of spintires? If you have too low fps, you will suffer of input lag. Also, are you sure your mouse/keyboard works properly.

If you are experiencing the same lag in another game then it is something with your computer. Do you have a graphics card?

I'm pretty new to toe game and I've noticed this. I'm assuming its the realistic nature of the simulator. You are driving some heavy off-road trucks in extremely muddy conditions. Very few trucks respond well to the conditions presented to us in the game. You just have to learn where to loc the diffs, AWD, paths, etc.

what does fps mean. I know its not the nature of the game cuz I push the gas and it takes a few seconds before it does anything just like when I turn the wheels take a few to turn. Something has to be up for it to respond so slow and all movement on screen is very slow.

Your computer is not up for the graphics of this game. Choose all the lowest graphic settings and one of the smallest resolutions. Then test the game

FPS is frames per second. Video is literally moving pictures. So FPS stands for how many pictures are displayed per second. If they are low (below 30) then that is really bad. Anything around 60 is considered standard.

QUF is probably right when he says your computer is not suitable for playing this game. Do what he says and lower all the settings as low as you can and then tell us how it is performing.

i turmed it all the way down. i guess i dont have the right graphics card for this game in high relpsution on my computer. How do i check the FPS?

Download a program called Fraps. It will let you check your FPS. http://www.fraps.com/download.php

Make sure your nvidia or amd card is being used, and not your cpu graphics. Add it as acs.exe profile (assettocorsa.exe is the menu), or change the general profile to max performance.

3-4 fps???? Whoa...that's barely fast enough to boot a computer. You really need to take your pc to a shop (Staples is good) and ask about your graphics capability and what it would take to upgrade a LOT so you can play games on it.

...Or, find a computer geek friend who can give you GOOD advice.
