Utility crane on E-7310
The Typ E truck is a rescue truck i suppose... so... how do i operate the crane?
I can go up and down a bit but i have to get out and in you know? to reach places in far regions like a river or something...

If i cant enlarge the crane i could use the normal winch because the range of both of them is exactly the same

I have only gotten that crane to go up and down as well. It may just be for lifting the front of a vehicle off the ground for towing.

The advantage of the crane is that you can lift the vehicle out of the hole it's in. This is better than using the normal whinch to try and pull it through the mud.

ah ok guys thank you
If it is any use guys the winch on this vehicle not only pulls things from the mud but stays in the raised position when it tows in real life so that the vehicle being towed has its front axle ( the steering one ) off the ground.
Hope this helps.

Can it be extended at all? Mine doesn't raise enough to really get the pulled vehicle off the ground. I even winched as close as possible still wasn't alot of help.

No that one can't be extended. Only up or down (and not by much). But, because it at-least does that you can lift the front of a vehicle if you work the tow + controls right until you get it hoisted. I used this last night for hell of it and towed a loaded logging truck across the map with it. Since you can get the towed vehicle front wheels off the ground, you can treat the tow as a trailer.

yeah, it's a beast. I did the same thing. Actually, the truck next size down (the smaller 8X8) was hauling logs and a log truck winched to it and my E7310 had to rescue it. Unfortunately, you can't have 3 vehicles winched together or i would have pulled em both, lol.

3 Vehicles winched in a towed convoy... could you imagine how sick that would look? Well, if any vehicle could lug that around, it would be the E7310!
