I don't understand most of this stuff or what exactly you are talking about. I imagine with the very low system requirements that it's not going to be a world class simulator, but probably some compromises made in the interest of PC specs as well as gameplay (it is being sold as a game after all). It looks great to me and got my copy already paid for and will pick up a second copy for a family member. The genre is very limited in choices, the game looks fantastic, the price is right - no brainer for me. Instant buy when I saw it pop up. Looks like modding is well supported, but more importantly that there are active, enthusiastic, talented modders already working on it.
Edit - Looks like there are already at least a couple of mod sites with vehicles, maps, tutorials. The kicktstarter backers over a certain level already have the editing tools for the game and have been making stuff. From what I can tell it looks like the editing tools will come with the game - but not 100% sure on that.
I don't know if they have or not. I was just looking for "spin tires suspension" and came across the mods. The full game could have working suspensions - I have no idea - but just wanted to show what modders (kickstarters) have been working on.
The beta and the dev demo are very different, the devs have even stated it, old mods wont work and will have to be converted. Also you know this dev team is really small and I think they have done an amazing job on the game so far going by the youtube videos.
You should watch some YT videos and decide then. This is likely the best new game based around off roading.
Dude go google Spintires Tech Demo .. the susspension is fully funtionial .. you be amazed,
I've got the Spintires tech demo (from the game's Kickstarter campaign). The suspension is faked by the use of soft-body physics. Solid metal components designed to move and pivot in real life are fixed in place and instead can twist and squish like they're made of jelly to compensate for the lack of true functionality. It just looks really bad to me.
Your loss.
But what do you expect form a small start up company?
They are a small dev team, working with limited funds.
The tech demo is amazing, the beta looks even better and from what I hear the full build has some improvements over the beta.
Mud is only so exiting; technically innovative/impressive or not, it's still mud.
If asking for accurately simulated suspension, (one of the most important things to consider for driving off-road) in an off-road driving simulator seems like both 'something so small' and some sort of huge unreasonable demand, then I’m sorry that you’re so quick to find things ‘sad’.
My new question is this: are the developers planning to implement any form of accurately simulated suspension? I would be happy to buy the game and wait in order to support their work if they are.
If they’re not, then I want nothing to do with it.
You will have better luck asking that here.

On the official forums.
Considering how small the dev team is, and the small budget they had, the game is pretty impressive.
Good luck, I would hope you find something you enjoy.
Nobody owes you anything, bud. If you don't like what you see, move on.
Wow... Bitter much?
Just annoyed by the sense of entitlement some people exhibit.
