Xbox type?
There's a section in the Menu/setting/ called Controls, open it. There you should find three types of key emmulators/keyboard/xbox/USB.
Get it?
If you have a program that pre-sets keystrokes like Xpadder, this is a heckova lot simpler, OK?
Now,
To make the Logs stick on the Log Truck after about the 4th Log Loaded by Crane, change truck to the Log truck with the Logs Load, then Hover the mouse over the Logs looking for "Red Dots" click on the red dots to make em turn green, this should turn the red to green, locking logs onto truck like a wire wrapper in real life does. Your truck is now loaded, go Unload it!!!
OK?
that should do it right?
P.S. The xbox controller Sticks kinda operate like a 'Real Loader' [Sorta?] at least as close as you can get without being some sorta Heavy Equip/Trucker (retired) that knows how they should work?
I don't have much of an issue, but I did have trouble at first understanding for a bit. Basically once you get used to the Once you get the hang of it, it's actually really easy, but I can tell you, something as simple as parking in the wrong place will certainly make it hard to reach and/or place logs onto the trucks.
If you use what is normally the "Roof" cam while operating the crane, it sorta puts it into what could feel as close to a cab view as they can get now for using the crane, which is great.
Also, remember that each log class has different requirements before you can click the green arrows when you get in the advanced menu. IIRC, For short logs, you need 4 logs loaded, medium, 3, and for long logs two. Once those are loaded, press "V" and click on the green dots on the logs. If sucessful, the vehicle will be loaded, if not, you may need to readjust either the vehicles positioning or the logs' loading to make sure that it'll allow the logs to be loaded.
Yep, good call. It's what I do as well. Works beautifully for extending the folded up long log trailer.
